Ad policies

1. How review works
Every creative and landing page is checked before it goes live. We look at the claim being made, the landing page it points to, the disclosures on that page, and whether the category needs a licence or extra documents.
Most reviews are done within one business day. If something is rejected we tell you what to change.
2. Creative requirements
- Ads must be legible, must not imitate system messages, and must not use fake buttons, cursors or close icons.
- No automatic sound, strobing, or anything designed to trick a click.
- Claims must be accurate and able to be backed up.
- If you use a person’s image or a brand’s name, you must have the right to.
- Before and after images, earnings claims and medical claims need evidence and may still be refused.
3. Landing page requirements
- The page must work, load quickly and match what the ad promised.
- No forced downloads, redirect chains or back-button traps.
- Prices, terms, subscription renewals and cancellation must be clear before someone pays.
- A privacy policy and a way to contact the business must be visible.
4. Categories we do not accept
- Illegal products and services, including counterfeit goods.
- Weapons, explosives and ammunition.
- Recreational drugs and drug paraphernalia.
- Adult content and escort services.
- Hate speech, harassment and content that encourages violence or self-harm.
- Malware, hacking tools and deceptive software.
- Get-rich-quick schemes, binary options, credit repair promises and unlicensed lending.
- Payday loans in markets where they are prohibited.
- Ads aimed at children under 16.
5. Categories that need approval
These can run, but only with documents and only where they are legal:
- Financial products: a licence, clear APR and terms, and state-level targeting where required.
- Insurance and health services: licence and market-specific disclosures.
- Alcohol: age-gated targeting and market rules.
- Gambling: a licence for every market targeted.
- Supplements and medical devices: evidence for claims, no disease claims.
- Political and issue advertising: identity verification and the disclosures each market requires.
6. Targeting rules
You may not build or target audiences using sensitive categories, including health conditions, financial hardship, race, religion, sexual orientation, trade union membership or political belief.
You may not use our platform to target individuals, and you may not upload a customer list you do not have permission to use.
7. Enforcement
We can reject a creative, pause a campaign or close an account for a breach. Repeated or serious breaches end the relationship. Where a breach wastes an advertiser’s budget through our error, we will credit it.
8. Traffic and inventory quality
Before we bid, requests are checked against known invalid traffic patterns, declared app and domain lists, and the ads.txt and app-ads.txt files of the publisher. Requests that fail those checks are not bid on and are not billed.
We do not buy from placements that hide ads, stack them behind each other, auto-refresh beyond industry norms, or load ads outside the visible page.
9. If a creative is rejected
You will see the reason in the dashboard. Fix the creative or the landing page and submit it again, or reply to the review email if you believe the decision was wrong. A second reviewer looks at every appeal.
Repeated submissions of the same rejected creative, or attempts to show reviewers a different page from the one users see, end the account.
10. Report an ad
If you have seen an ad delivered by SAPADS that breaks these policies, write to contact@sapads.com with a screenshot, the page or app where you saw it, and the date and time. We investigate every report.
