Privacy policy

Last updated: 10 October 2026

1. Who this policy covers

This policy explains how SAPADS handles personal information in three situations:

  • Advertisers and agencies who hold an account with us.
  • Website visitors who browse sapads.com.
  • Internet users who see or interact with an ad bought through our platform.

Where we decide why and how data is used, we act as a controller. Where we act on an advertiser’s instructions, we act as a processor and their own privacy policy also applies.

2. What we collect

From advertisers

Name, work email, company, website, billing details, and the information you enter when you build a campaign.

From website visitors

Pages viewed, referring site, approximate location from IP address, browser and device type, and the contents of forms you submit.

From ad serving

When an ad is requested or shown, we may receive or generate: IP address, browser and device type, operating system, approximate location (country, state, city), the page or app where the ad appeared, advertising identifiers, cookie or pixel identifiers, and whether the ad was viewed or clicked.

We do not ask for and do not knowingly collect names, email addresses, phone numbers or payment details from the people who see ads.

3. How we use it

  • To run, deliver and measure advertising campaigns.
  • To decide which ad to bid for and what to pay.
  • To limit how often the same person sees an ad.
  • To detect invalid traffic, fraud and policy breaches.
  • To report results to the advertiser whose campaign it was.
  • To operate our own business: billing, support, security and legal obligations.

4. How we share it

  • Supply partners and exchanges, as part of the bid request and response.
  • Advertisers, in aggregate reporting about their own campaigns.
  • Measurement partners the advertiser chooses, such as their mobile measurement partner.
  • Service providers who host, secure or support the platform, under contract.
  • Authorities, where the law requires it.

We do not sell personal information for money. Some sharing for advertising may still count as a “sale” or “sharing” under US state privacy laws, which is why we offer the opt-outs in the next section.

5. Your choices

6. Regional rights

United States

Depending on your state, you may have the right to know what we hold, to have it deleted or corrected, to opt out of targeted advertising and the sale or sharing of your data, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights.

Europe and the United Kingdom

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, and may object to processing. Our lawful basis for advertising is legitimate interests, or consent where the law requires it.

To make a request, write to contact@sapads.com. We will verify the request before acting on it.

7. Retention and security

Campaign and billing records are kept while the account is active and for as long as tax and accounting rules require. Bid and delivery logs are kept for a shorter period, long enough for reporting, billing and fraud checks.

We use access controls, encryption in transit, and monitoring to protect the data we hold. No system is perfectly secure, and we will tell affected people and regulators if the law requires it.

8. Children

Our platform is not for children. We do not knowingly build audiences from, or target ads to, people under 16, and we do not buy inventory that is directed at children.

9. Our role in the advertising chain

SAPADS is a demand-side platform. We buy advertising space on behalf of advertisers through exchanges and supply partners. We do not own the websites or apps where ads appear, and we do not control what those publishers collect through their own tags.

In a bid request we receive a limited set of signals from the publisher, decide whether to bid, and return an ad. If we do not win the auction, the request is discarded.

We support the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework and US Privacy signals passed to us by our supply partners. Where a signal says a user has not consented or has opted out, we do not bid using identifiers for that request.

10. Data we never use

We do not build or buy audiences based on health conditions, financial hardship, race or ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, trade union membership, political belief, or any other category treated as sensitive by law.

We do not target individuals, we do not allow advertisers to upload identifiers they have no right to use, and we do not accept data about anyone under 16.

11. International transfers

Our platform runs on servers in the United States and Europe. Where personal data moves between regions, we rely on the transfer mechanisms the law provides, including the standard contractual clauses, and we apply the same protections wherever the data sits.

12. Contact and changes

Questions, requests or complaints: contact@sapads.com.

We will post any change to this policy on this page and update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will tell account holders by email.
